Belowdecks, the Oceanis 48 is downright spacious, with the saloon laid out to accommodate a crowd. Centrepiece is the good, deep U-shaped seating area to portside. The galley to starboard has a sink, an oven, a fridge and adequate cabinet space for dishes and provisions. The expansive cockpit has twin wheels, a fixed table with folding leaves and a wide fold-down transom. There's a nice lounging area here, cockpit cushions can be removed when you're underway, but great place when you're still and the sun's out. Let yourself relax on the vast outdoor teak decks. Bow thruster gives you greater maneuvering capabilities in marinas.

Coming from the North on the SS1 Aurelia, take the Follonica Nord exit and follow the signs for Follonica to Castiglione della Pescaia. Once you have crossed Follonica, drive for 4km until you reach Puntone di Scarlino. At the traffic light, turn right and after 500 meters you will reach the Marina entrance. If you arrive from the South on the SS1 Aurelia, exit Scarlino and follow the signs for Castiglione della Pescaia up to Puntone di Scarlino. The nearest railway stations are Follonica (5 km) and Grosseto (45 km). Numerous international airports serve the area. The closest of these is the Galileo Galilei of Pisa (120 km)
