Kornati

The Kornati archipelago and the National Park of the same name are 89 closely located islands with mazes of straits between them. It’s not surprising that yachtsmen love the region so much – narrow canals and pearly reefs are combined with steep rock walls and cliffs create a mesmerizing seascape. Many of the islands are uninhabited; pay some of them a visit. Drop into the Byzantium Fortress of Tureta on the isle of Kornat, or walk between olives and pines. Travel down to the southern end of the archipelago and have a meal in local konobas.
