Yachtsmen took a liking to the modest village of Polaće on the island of Mljet because of its navigational characteristics. Several islets and rocks in the bay protect the resort and piers from winds, at the same time making entering the marina a fascinating adventure. Guests of the village can visit Roman ruins and the Mljet National Park.
